Sapotas also known as chikkus here, were harvested yesterday It is ages since we got any but one of our maids climbed the tree and got some
They are now kept for ripening. We have several fruit trees but the weather interfered with their yield
The weather is slowly getting back to normal and that is how we got the sapotas this time.
I am patiently waiting for them to get ready .

They are very sweet and loaded with nutrients. We call it chikku

@kareng They are meaty with hard seeds that are thrown away The flesh is soft and sweet.
