I Got TWO

Eggs today
. The older girls should start getting more regular now. I did toss one egg as it was very small. It was her first egg I am sure. But this will help me buy less eggs at least.
It got sunny and very nice this afternoon. I went outside barefoot and in shorts. It felt great. I did get the tote out and cleaned up. It's put away for now. But I might need it next week after I go shopping
.
I was walking around looking at plants and seen my garlic that I never planted last year was starting to grow. I now have over 100 transplanted and more to go. Because of that I didn't do anything in the house.
I thought my prickly pear cactus had died that I planted last summer. But it looks like it is coming back. I will be able to tell over the next few weeks. If it survived this winter I will plant more of them and only have starts in the house over the winter. I know where I will be putting them if I do.
I hope you had a good day.

Had a great day. I went out in shorts, too! If I’d known if would get warm as soon as I washed my hoodie I would’ve washed it a month ago!

We have had this experience while we were in the city We had the battery system and I would run to the balcony the moment I returned from work to see how many had laid

I always go out in shorts, no shirt and no shoes to get the mail, no matter what Mother Nature is doing outside.
I don't STAY outside, though.
If you don't know what to do with some of the prickly pear cactuses, I can make some suggestions.
Have a good night.

I can stick one to George's rump if he gets out again

@wolfgirl569 Yeah, but your hubby and the dogs MAKE you stay outside! My fishies can't make me stay out of the house.

I can just hear George calling me and complaining about you sticking them up under his tail.

I am glad to read you are getting some eggs now. Hopefully the big girls will keep you well supplied!
We had no sun at all today, just a mournful light drizzle of rain, which made it feel colder even though it wasn't really cold.

Most definitely. And if they ever start producing too many, you can always sell some at your auction.

I have just worked inside today. My last load of laundry is in the dryer. I have meatloaf and a casserole in the oven. Food to eat, and then freeze some portions so that I have a variety of meals next week. Hopefully tomorrow I will get outside.

Congrats on the eggs. Soon it will be warm all the time. I hope we don't have a stifling summer.

@wolfgirl569 Me too. I'm tired of always being under my blanket.
