Another Flea Market Day in the Books

I did manage to make it to the flea market this afternoon and had plenty of time to tidy up. Yay!
I had a few things that people had left in my booth that needed putting back up and that along with straightening up, moving things around and putting new things out wiped me out. It was a humid in the building and the AC was not turned on, so that made moving around a little bit hot and sticky.
I managed to get out of there in about an hour and a half. It was very busy day there for a Friday and my friend in the office said it was more like a Saturday today than a Friday. I hope sales are as good tomorrow as they were today.
I will be going back early next week hopefully to put more new stuff in there since the first weekend of April is coming up. That is always the best weekend of the month for sales!
What did you do today?

Sounds like you had a busy, but good day.
We went to a farmers market this am...our church does a concession table. The sausage dogs were yummy. Our catfish stew should be done soon.

I slowly gimped around the house, washed the dishes and wiped down the kitchen counter. Then I called and made an appointment with a chiropractor and then called back and changed the appointment... I then crawled into bed and slept off and on until about 11 pm when I got up and cooked pasta with ground beef and broccoli and washed the dishes again. I've just finished a bowl of pasta and will need to go back to the kitchen and put the rest of the pasta into bowls and stick those in the fridge before I wash the dishes I dirtied making and eating the pasta for supper.
Oh, and I watched it raining outside for a while today. .

Set up as long as you keep the rent up! This one runs like if you don't make your rent in sales for 3 months in a row, you are evicted. They have so much traffic there that it is hard not to make your rent.
I noticed 5-6 empty booths the other day. You can't just add stuff and never go to tidy up. Nobody wants to shop in a booth all messed up.

@kareng I wish that they had something similar to that here.
There is a seasonal outdoor one about 90 minutes from here.
There are some really interesting one of a kind goodies that we've picked up there over the years, always fun to wander around under the shade of the big trees and enjoy the cool breeze off of Lake Huron.

Flea markets are always fun, and luckily they have them many weekends a year at our local fairgrounds. This weekend they have a "man cave extravaganza," and I have no idea what will be there, but it will be fun to walk around and have a look-see.

You were busy, for sure. I hope tomorrow you can stay home and rest!
What did I do today...hmm...tried to go to the post office and it was closed until Monday. Took son to an out of town Dr. appointment that was lengthy. Drove in 50 MPH winds the whole way there and back--and my car talked again!! Evidently, when the wind gusts are actually trying to move the car, my son says the car ''thinks'' that the driver is being jerky at the wheel, etc. so it says ''Time to take a break!'' That's only the second time we've heard that. And both times the wind was terrible. Surely that has to be it. We came home and had homemade pizza (his request) and salad. I rested a bit and then I worked on some cleaning, that's it for the day!

You had a busy day, too!!
I'll be home tomorrow with this weather moving in. So far we are doing good with little rain and no thunderstorms --YET! I plan on doing some laundry and cooking! And tagging stuff for the flea market for next week. I want it done and packed and ready to go! I also need to tag more stuff for the boutique. Have proms all happening around here! They get earlier and earlier every year!
Homemade pizza sounds delicious!! Yum!

We really like homemade pizza. We usually make more than one and freeze a few. So yummy!

@kareng Yes, it is. Except I saw a credit card payment I didn't remember authorizing. They can forget about their service. I am not paying for this.

What did I do? Hmm…what day is it?
I went across the river, had lunch at the Chuy’s over there, and used some coupons at Meijer that were about to expire.
Lovely day today! We have the threat of severe weather this weekend, though. (You, too, keep an eye on the forecast!

That would be nice. I forget what the hubby said quit working today. He thought it was only a few years old. I asked when he bought it and he said right after we moved here. So that means it is either 26 or 17 years old. I believe it just may need replacing now. He's been working on it with no luck.

Yes, it is! I got a few books, mainly cookbooks the other day and a Chicken Soup for the Soul book and an Amish book. The lady tried to charge me the price of the cookbooks for the Chicken Soup book. I told her that wasn't a cook book. She said, "Yes it is." And then pointed to the title. I showed her nope, read the rest of the title. She said opps and corrected the price.

@kareng One of my husband's insurance policies must go through probate. We were trying to avoid probate; but the insurance company is requesting a form which can only be accomplished through probate. Bummer. I had to go and sign a whole bunch of paperwork for everything to go through. He's going to do my will revision for me as well.
