Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 60 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 80!!
I went to bed early last night and wound up waking up at 3am.
Instead of fighting it I just got up and decided to be productive. I've mixed up some dough for pretzel buns which is currently rising on the counter. I've done a load of dishes. Next up is a batch of high-protein egg bagels. They are so easy to do and great for a quick workday breakfast before I head out the door.
The dog will be here in about an hour. I have a doctor appointment this morning at 8:20. After that I will be back here with the animals. The cleaning lady said she will be here at 9:30 which means she will probably get here at like 11.
I don't have any big plans today. I'm sure I'll get up to some more cooking/baking. My neighbor will be getting a goody bag when she picks Whiskey up tonight.
What's everyone else up to today?

I’m usually awake at 3am every morning, but I never get up to do anything productive, just go to the loo and have a drink of water. Not necessarily in that order.
We are having a partial eclipse today, about now, so I keep popping outside to see what I can see. So far, just cloud. Shame.
Have a good day!

Good morning. It is currently 62F and breezy in my part of Missouri. We're expecting rain and thunderstorms today.
I hope you have a good doctor appointment and the rest of your day turns out well, too.

I would love to try your bagels. Today my husband's 2nd cousin comes to do "stuff" around here. She's going to drive both cars today too I think. I'm debating whether to leave the house to her or her daughter. It would be much more practical for her daughter.

@NJChicaa It might be too much for her to maintain. And it's just her and her Pomeranian. 4 bedrooms would be more practical for her daughter and her husband and 2 sons...they also have 2 pitbulls. There is about 3/4 of an acre fenced in. They would just have to open the back slider to let the dogs out. I will discuss it with her mother when she comes today.
