Better

As I posted last week, I was feeling under the weather.
There is an old saying......once an adult, twice a child.
Maybe that is happening to me. Especially on the health side.
Children often get sick quickly but get better just as quickly. And I feel like that happened to me.
My ears and sinuses are still bothering me. But, I feel so much better, and my energy has returned-finally. That was evident when I woke at the very early time that I usually wake on Saturday mornings. I love a little quiet time in the mornings before the rest of the world is up and moving about. I enjoyed that today.
I woke from my nap this afternoon to find a gift box with my name on it had been delivered. Thank you to a very special myLotter, you know who you are. This made me feel even better still.
I took the picture with my brand new cellphone that I picked up yesterday.

Thank you.
I was so pleased to be up bright and early this morning, as I usually am on Saturday mornings.
My ears are aching currently, they are still pretty tight, but hopefully while I sleep there will be some loosening of the infection there and in my sinuses.

Thank you, Lenore helped to motivate me to drink plenty of water, which I believe really made a huge difference. It is good to overcome shortfalls with the buddy-system like we did.
I didn't mean to worry anyone.
The flowers are as soft and pretty as you can imagine.

Isn't it just the cutest.......it made my day.
For all of the chicken soup that I've had this week, my husband has changed things up for supper and will order in Swiss Chalet, which is rotisserie chicken with a nice slightly spicy dipping sauce for the fries.
My throat is much better, and my energy level has improved, but my ears and sinuses are still plugged tight. The ears are aching me currently.

@celticeagle I have to take the photo and then email it to myself and then use photoscape to size it properly to use it here.

Thanks, every day a little bit better.
They are soft and simple and just pretty.
I was pretty proud of myself for managing to take my first ever picture with my new phone that I got yesterday, and with just one hand, I'm better than I thought I was.

Oh, what a special and beautiful gift! So delicate looking. I love that light shade of pink.
I am glad to read that you are feeling better, Julia. Take it slow, hopefully the rest of the illness will fade away very soon. Take good care!

They are very soft and delicate, the picture doesn't do them justice.
So special indeed.
I am trying be good to my body to allow it to heal.
A surprised gift like this is just a little reminder to try a little harder and be a little easier on myself.

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better.
It's pollen season here so everyone has running noses, itchy eyes but thank God it rained last night and a little bit today.

@Juliaacv Yes, I've received things and cards from MyLotters too. I really don't want them to spend the money; but it's such a wonderful gesture.

Thank you Heather.
The early morning quiet time was something that I discovered in my late 40's, and I love it.
My son discovered it in his early 30's, and even Willow will get up early just to have 'alone' time with Daddy-twins don't get alot of that. Harper can sleep in until (;30 or 10 and still go to bed at night at her regular time, she hates mornings.

That happens to everyone of us, i guess. Old age state is unavoidable.
