Losing my phone sure did get me sidetracked on this thread I have been posting on. I'm going to get back on it! I think we have finally hit the mark on being there--in Spring here with no more cold snaps! With that being said, I am knocking on wood! Why? Because we had snow here in Mississippi twice in April just a few years ago. It was just a random thing that I have never witnesses in Louisiana or Mississippi before in my life--snow in April!! Let alone snow twice in the same year and month in April!
So while the cell phone was lost and the search was under way, the wisteria started blooming here. It is a vivid lilac color and climbing up several trees here. I have posted photos of this wisteria before if you have been a long time member here, you may recall them.
Do you have any wisteria in your yard?

That would be nice to see. Mine didn't bloom last year.

I used to have a huge vine at the old house but here I don't, however it grows wild in the roadside here, it's the prettiest blooming vine and smells so good.
My mom had a vine by our backdoor when I was little.

I've always enjoyed seeing wisteria at other houses but don't have any here and didn't have any at our last house. It looks like it would need a lot of care and I'm not always able to take care of plants outside anymore and Pretty refuses to help me with outside plants. *shrug*
I can remember getting snow here in Missouri at the end of April and, once, even in May. It didn't stick around but it sure knocked blooms off fruit trees here that year. I remember farmers setting up gas heaters in their orchards trying to save some of the crop.

There's a lot of wisteria around here and it's beautiful even if it is a parasite.
