Just thought I'd check in

I took this shot sometime in the mid 1990s of the poppies that used to sprought on the east slopes of the Franklin Mountains

Hi ya'll, hope everyone is doing really good. The photo above is of the poppies I used to get shots of but I haven't seen them in years, I can't even remember when this one was taken but I know it was in the mid 1990s, maybe 1995. The video is of Roscoe after I gave him a cucumber, he was really delighted with it and once he finished playing with it he ate it, as you can see. If you have dogs, do they ever eat cucumbers?
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Thank you. I miss seeing those poppies but road construction has ruined the site where they used to grow this time of year

Oh yeah, he seems to like fruits to some point but I have to be careful that I'm not giving him something that is toxic like chocolate is.

Thank you, I remember some articules that were written in 1993 about how a helicopter flew over the slopes where they were blooming and mentioned how vibrant they were.

@rebelann You don't see pictures of the yellow ones as often as you do the red ones.

It's a lovely photo! I can't remember dogs on the farm eating cucumbers but I do remember some of them eating different kinds of fruit if we dropped some on the ground. Or begging for apple slices or part of our bananas when we kids went outside with one.

Thank you. They haven't been seen in that area since the road construction started. I had put it in an area where I had hoped it would rot and produce seedlings, I was really surprised when he decided to eat it.

They did a lot of damage to the area where they used to grow. As you know, plants are sensitive

@rebelann You're welcome. Oh, that's too bad. I guess the roadwork killed them off.

@DaddyEvil My dogs Mykey and Ally used to eat the mulberries from my mulberry tree along with the pumpkin I'd give them.

Do you ever offer your dogs fresh fruit? A lot of them like fruit.

My dog did eat cucumber but it did not like cucumber as cucumbers are tasteless and it like something tasty

Love the flowers! That video reminds me of Freckles. When she was a puppy I dropped a potato I was peeling, and she grabbed it and ran off. I went in to the living room, and she was eating it like it was the tastiest thing she’d ever had in her life! As a result, every time I peeled potatoes I had to make sure she got a couple of bites.

It would have been great to see those poppies. What a sight it must have been. I've never known dogs to eat cucumbers.
