Sunday Supper

'That time' of the day has rolled around here.
That is the time when I can put my feet up because Sunday supper is in the oven. This week's big meal was a request from my husband. He asked for lasagna. I have made up a nice bowl of salad to go along with it.
It is getting to 'that time' of the year when we will not necessarily be having lasagna as frequently as we do during the cold months. I had some cheeses that I wanted to use up, so his request fit the bill for tonight.
I also picked up a too tall Tuxedo cake for dessert.
Are we celebrating? Why yes we are. It was March 29th, quite a few years ago, that we met as teenagers. It was love at first sight, and we've really grown up together, and as long as it sounds, it seems like yesterday when I first looked into his soft brown eyes and I was hooked.

What a nice love story, Julia! A wonderful memory, indeed.
I agree that lasagna is rather a heavy meal. My kids never care, if they have the opportunity to get mom to make lasagna, they eat it all up. I made 2 of them a few weeks ago, and I put one in the freezer. Amazingly, it's still there, but my son hasn't been eating that much lately. I am sure he will eat it before long!
Have a great dinner together, and ''happy meet-up day'' to you both.
