So, i guess trying to get meds on Monday is a bad idea. I am going to have to remember that for the future. I do need meds and preferably today. I am going to take my last pill tonight. I called and talked to them, normally I order it online, but I had the store number instead..so I talked to the pharmacy staff. She said we will try to have it done today, but there are 75 people in front of you!!!. I have always been able to get meds there on the same day usually within 10 or 15 minutes. She said call before you come down. So, I will check when they come back from lunch or maybe like 3 or 4. I guess I have been spoiled in the past.

Very unlike them to have a back up like that. They must be going nuts!

This sounds like the pharmacy nightmares I go through for my son, but our problem is that the medications he needs often do not arrive when they are supposed to, and the pharmacies do not get them. Then it will be all good for a few months, then it starts up again. It's a hurry up and wait thing, for sure, and very frustrating. Hang in there!

@snowy22315 I hope you don't have to wait as long as we have had to. It's frustrating!

I just got back from Tulsa to get a prescription! Yes, I drove two and a half hours for a medication. I couldn’t find any pharmacy closer that made it. Apparently, I’ll be making a trip once a month to get it. At least I can drive a little further and visit my sister and her family like today. They won’t ship it because it has to stay room temperature, and they can’t guarantee that. Today, my dad drove me. He wanted to check on my BIL after knee replacement surgery (he’s doing shockingly good).

We very rarely have to queue or wait for anything although the chemist often takes 10-15 minutes to get prescriptions sorted.
