I don't think we'll see a dry season. We're in the middle of a thunderstorm. Thankfully, we're okay and doing safe. Which is the important thing. We're both home. Went on another impromptu drive today. Hit up a couple of places, With mixed results. First place we hit up was Daytona Toyota, because George and I couldn't figure out how to get the wind shild wipers to stop doing the interment thing, where it goes every minute or so. Person was super helpful, and George appoligized for forgetting how they work. Next we went to the Hilton Garden in. We'd never stayed there, so the staff didn't know or remember us. There'd been a turnover since the last time we'd paid them a visit, so while they were friendly, the manager was a bit agressive with George when he tried to see the pool deck. And basically told us we needed to leave and then watched George because he wasn't walking fast enough. He's still walking with the walker, but the driving is good therapy for his leg. Not to mention his mental and emotional health. Second place we went was Home2suites by Hilton, a place we've stayed before, but the woman maning the front desk was new. She knew who we were though, or at least knew the people we were talking about. She didn't mind that George wanted to sit out on the pool deck *despite us needing a key to get back in(. A guest, who also helped us with the gate, helped us get back in. Much friendlier reception. Mnow it's raining. Thus the title of the post.

Those thunderstorms are making the rounds. Glad ya'll got a bit of sunshine today. It didn't come out here until around 3 pm or right after.

@kaylachan Right that is your typical summertime showers. I don't mind those. We have been getting full fledged storms here.

@kareng This one was one of those, it just so-happened to hit during the typical "shower" hours. But we had thunder, lightning sharp winds, a flooded front porch, the works.

We had it for the hotest part of the day. In Florida, it's common for storms to hit between four and seven in the afternoon, when the heat of the day starts to taper off.

It seems thunderstorms hit almost every where. in my country several places were hit and many citizens suffered a lot--houses were destroyed, lost life and many more.
