More Done Today.

I have the cabinet almost empty now and the stuff packed away. I will try setting up at the farmers market maybe this year and see if some of it will sell. That would be nice.
I placed some root starters on my rose bush branches. You skin the stem and then put dirt on it using something to hold it there. Hopefully it works. That's easier than having to tend to cuttings.
Got more cutting done on the fence panel too. It will soon be finished.
Hope you had a good day.

As usual, you got a lot done. I stayed here with my son for the last two days, we didn't go anywhere as he isn't feeling very well right now. I did go outside and tidy up the yard from all the wind, the stuff that blew past and decided to rest in the yard, and some twigs and leaves that blew in. Swept the walkway and the porch. It looks better, those big winds always blow so much stuff through my area.
I have always enjoyed Farmer's Markets. So much stuff, and fun, everyone is friendly, too.

It does make a mess. And, it seems to knock over or blow over a lot of the semi trucks on the interstates up here, too. That one stormy day last weekend with the high winds, we had so many closings and detours due to semi trucks being on their sides on the interstates.
Thanks, today was a bit better but he's not that good yet. I always have hopes.

@MarieCoyle We don't get winds like that very often thankfully.

I cleaned more of the house today (in the kitchen) and watched the very touching tribute the Brewers did for Bob Uecker. I’m relaxing now, enjoying the Cubs game.

We finally had a better and safer condition after some areas were hit by flash flood. The people were safe but not the belongings -- many were destroyed and became unusable.

I seen it on Pinterest for trees. Bushes are woody too so should work

Yes, that is a good way to get rose starts... I did it several times when I was propagating the miniature rose bushes.
I've done the two sinks full of dishes Pretty piled up while I couldn't see and cleaned the kitchen counter. I need to clean the stove... But it will have to wait. I was exhausted by the time I finished that bit of cleaning.
The new neighbor came over today and asked Pretty to move our car since they're taking all the siding off the house and rebuilding their garage. She explained that the car didn't run so they said they'd just have to be careful around it.
I got a text from my doctor's office asking if I'd be interested in moving my appointment up to the 2nd of April from April 24th so I accepted the change. I still have the chiropractor appointment on the 3rd, too.
Pretty said she's already paid all the bills online for the month of April.
Hope you're having a good night.

@wolfgirl569 The roses are the only plants I've tried that technique with but I understand from books that it does work on other things, too.
I was surprised when the doctor couldn't get me in sooner than the end of April. Always before, I'd been able to get an appointment within about a week of calling them. This time they put me on a "reserve" list in case someone cancelled their appointment. I'm glad they called.

@DaddyEvil I am going to try it on my wisteria too. That should mean the new plants will bloom as they are from older wood.

I had never tried it. Glad it works.
I did a few dishes so they stayed caught up.
Glad they are trying not to damage stuff.
That's a much better appointment time. Hope they help.
