Recently Bryan Kohlberger , the suspect in the four college students murder two years ago, went under psychological testing and was found to have ASD(Autistic Spectrum Disorder). This means than he may not be good in social situations and they may not respond to things as a normal person would as in expressions or body language. They are saying that the possibility of a firing squad, or lethal injection (which is the law in Idaho for a capitol offense) if he is found guilty should be taken off the table. That it would be inhumane. Because he has ASD. I find fault with this. He didn't have this disorder to the degree that it kept him from going to college, and even being an assistant to one of the teachers. I think he is very intelligent and is playing dumb as much as he can. What are your thoughts on this issue?

I am a parent of a teenage daughter with ASD and I keep working and advocating for them. Yes, they are super smart in certain aspects and still be totally dumb and clueless about others. They don't act to be dumb. Understanding them is very tough. I don't know anything about the case and can't comment. But yes, have worked for 18 long years in this field and it is intriguing. Neurodiversity is a big mystery.
