Another month starts today, Happy April everyone. I am not planning on taking part in any pranks today, working from home takes away most social interaction which suits me just fine. My husband isn't much for pranks on this day. It has been cool here still. I hope that changes. March came in like a lion and went out like one too, only less stormy, just as cold I think. I should be careful what I wish for. They are calling for a dry and warmer summer season again, and not being a lover of the heat, I should appreciate the cool while it is here. ~Photo is mine

No the weather often has something to be desired. Are you still experiencing terribly hot weather? I usually gauge what you have during spring and fall to kind of know what to expect to here. Thanks, that is my quiet corner in the living room. I have a nice chair beside the table for reading. The flowers were my bouquet from my wedding, I had a florist rearrange them into a table centrepiece, I just don't always use the candles for it.

@JudyEv Thank you, I like to hear what your weather is doing. Our morning was very dark here. Around noon it began to rain and within an hour a cold front came through and now there is a coating of ice on everything.

@Juliaacv Repurposing the bouquet was a brilliant idea. So pretty and so many memories. The reallly hot weather seems to have gone at last. Today was very pleasant.

Today we are having a storm with freezing rain, it has been going on for about 3 or 4 hours now and everything has a thick coating of ice on it.

March has been cooler than average and with a lot of rain, but the last day of March has been hot and beautiful.

We did not have any heat recently. We have had ice storms this past week, which have been worrisome.

Last weeks warmer weather has disappeared and today we're back to cold temperatures. Back to wearing a sweater instead of a lighter weight shirt. I really hope the summer is nice and not too hot and humid.

Today is quite cold and damp here. It was dark all morning, but this afternoon we began to get rain and then it switched to freezing rain. Everything is coated now and it is continuing. I have a nice beef stew in the slow cooker which should help us feel nice and warm.

Good morning. I haven't really done the April's Fool day prank thing since school. I just don't have the time to really plan anything out lol. It's freezing in the mornings now and warm in the afternoons. I'm freezing right now and fighting the urge to just burrow under my blankets.

Pranks are for the immature, I agree completely, but some continue it as adults.

@Juliaacv Some pranks are good but I think as we get older, our sense of humor changes and what used to be funny isn't. The pranks need to grow as we do

I don't like it too cold or too hot. 65-75 would suit me just fine. I have a feeling it's going to be a stifling summer. Have a good day.

Yes, that would be lovely to have all of the year around. Sadly, that isn't the case for where either of us live. The reality of heat and humidity will begin next month I would suspect. We need to enjoy the cooler days that we have now, as much as we can.
