I wish I was still blissfully ignorant

So, sis contacted me on Sunday and told me one of our former neighbors had died. Actually, he was a playmate. Although, we didn't see too much of him well hardly at all after the age of 12. He did teach me how to hit a baseball, and was my first crush. Nice looking, and nice acting boy. He just died at the age of 69. I just wish I didn't know about it honestly, because I keep thinking about it. Not much older than I am..and he was always in good shape, athletic and so forth. The obit doesn't give the cause. I might write something on the online tribute, since unfortunately, I know about it now. I just keep wondering what happened. Do you find some deaths perplexing?

I am sorry that you lost such an old friend from your childhood. Remember him happily, and realize that he most likely passed away peacefully, you have no reason to believe otherwise.

I think to be carefree must be a wonderful feeling. I am often getting stressed out in situations

Mostly I am bothered when stupid choices catch up to people, and sometimes the people who die are not the ones making the stupid choices but are the people who happen to cross their path.

Sorry for your loss....there have been people that have passed that I didn't t know what was the cause...Always sad especially if they are young.

He wasn't so young, but his mom just passed like 5 years ago or so, and his dad not too long before that, so not really expected

I do see some like that which make me wonder and feel terrible. The older we get the more likely we will see things like this .

It reminds you of your own mortality.

Sorry to know about your dear friend's passing away. I can empathize almost fully as I have lost many dear friends recently.

Thanks, it's hard whether you were close to the person or not.
