I didn't drive to the clinic this morning. I asked my friend if she could/would help me. Yes!
9 am sharp: she and her silver car were at my front gate. Doctor nurse examined my foot and leg and said I needed to take another five days of antibiotics and yogurt pills. There is vast improvement but swelling and redness remains.
Gulp: I also needed to go to the lab and undergo another blood test to see how the sediment rate was doing in my blood. I continue to be physically shaky. She escorted me out the door and I headed around the receptionist's desk area to the lab. I held onto my friend's knit cap, shook, and had the bloodwork done.
Friend is at the drugstore now, getting me the meds. Sweet lady. Lunch is on the ticket for me soon and probably a snooze on the couch. It's cloudy and this side of foggy out but by this weekkend there is promise of sun and maybe temps hitting this side of 70. YUM.

I'm glad you made it to your appointment, no matter how you managed that. I'm glad your friend is picking up the new meds for you. It's nice to know you're doing better. 
It still looks like we could get some nasty weather today but some of the weather watches have disappeared from the predictions. We still have a strong wind blowing with gusts up to 40 mph right now.

I am glad she drove, with you being shaky, driving wouldn't be good. Now please take good care of yourself! I hope the antibiotics do what they are supposed to do and your foot and leg heal quickly and well.
