If we are doing it...

I live in a 3rd World County. One that Trump called a 'Sh8thole'. I was in the supermarket today and saw a locally produced cream cheese right next to that famous Philadelphia one. I began investigating, so saw our local version of Kraft mac and cheese, there were no non-Jamaican soups. just about every American product,(and there were very few) had either a local or from another country. Most cars come from Japan or Korea, most motorcycles from China. You won't see American vehicles very often. Most electronic goods come from China, be they computers or coffee makers, fridges or fans. I think Trump has no idea that the world does not depend on America. But he will. If we can do it with our limited resources, other nations can

Please- from my heart- know that this horror is not my doing. I am a moral, caring person. That person who is in the White House does not deserve to be there. I am sorry for any pain you might experience.

I really do hope that people in other countries know that all of us here in the US don’t like what’s happening. What he is doing affects the world and I’m sorry.

I don't think we will suffer as predicted. I think the tariffs will backfire. I think the prices will soar in the US

@MarieCoyle he makes people withdraw and reject America. Everything he does makes everyone feel that what was believed about the US was and is a myth.

@jaylar I am worried and horrified. Insanity AND power are not a good mixture.

You are right since your nation is successful with the limited resources you have.

I read an article once - way back in 2010. This American lady wanted to see if she could live comfortably for 2 years without buying anything made in China !...it didn't work.

I found that just about everything came from China. I tried to find a microwave, and from store to store all of them came from China. In the supermarket there had once been a long aisle full of US stuff... Heinz, Kraft, Campbell... Green Giant... one aisle.. then I notice it became like a portion of two shelves in a section. I used to use Campbell's soup as the basis for tomato sauce... then it disappeared. The first time Trump tried his 'trade war' in 2016 i realised how stupid he was. He seemed the only one on earth that didn't realise everything came from China. All of us in the 3rd World were 'invaded' by China. We started making our own stuff, getting less and less from the US And I am sure other countries did the same

@Kandae11 when I first got on the 'net I was talking with a chap in Kenya who described how China had invaded. That was 1995. Shortly after they came here and ... well... you know the story cause it is the same all over. The only one unaware of this is Trump
