A Coincidence?

One of my favorite movies in which the late Val Kilmer starred was the 1993 western "Tombstone". He played the part of Doc Holiday ,alongside Kurt Russel as Wyatt Earp and Sam Elliot as Virgil Earp.
In the movie ,Val Kilmer's character was dying of Tuberculosis - an infectious disease which affects the lungs - and throat. Even though it was a movie l recall feeling sad when he died of the illness.
Now hearing about his death from pneumonia and that he battled throat cancer since 2014 it seems so much like a coincidence. He was a very good actor and could have made many more good movies. Condolences to his family, friends and fans. May his soul rest in peace.
Picture shows Val Kilmer and the Earp brothers in the movie Tombstone. Kilmer is the one second from left with the exposed shirt.

Val Kilmer was known for his talent throughout Hollywood, although I think he may have also been difficult to work with. Life imitates art sometimes.

I will miss Val Kilmer a lot myself since I enjoy his role in the Batman universe.
