It 's that time of the year again when l begin to wonder what kind of hurricane season we will have. - the atlantic season starts on June 1 and ends on November 30.
Last year the first storm came early - and it was disastrous. We lost fruit trees and fruit as well as banana trees. We lost an avocado tree( luckily there is another that was left standing) mangoes were blown away. Thankfully our starapple, guava, plum , coconut trees as well as both soursop trees were left standing.
Picture shows one of our soursop trees with a large fruit on it.
Do you worry about unpleasant events which you know are likely to occur - or do you simply not think about it?

Please try the pic again, didn't post. I was reading the other night that the earliest development of a hurricane ever is happening now. Not sure which basin it was though. Last year didn't seem that bad, but I am sure it is worse where you are. A season of dread for some. Glad all your lost was fruit trees.

Yay, see it now. I really wanted to see what a soursop tree and fruit looks like. What do you use it in?

@snowy22315 The soursop leaves can make tea - which has numerous health benefits. The inside of the ripe fruit is soft, white and slightly sweet. You can make icecream with it , smoothies or eat it with a spoon.

I try to ignore things I can't change and live life as best I can.

@Kandae11 I think so, too.
I hope you don't have any problems this year with storms.

I do worry about hurricane season but more so from a flooding, windy and damage related (trees falling etc). I've been through some wicked hurricanes and they can be very scary.
Hope hurricane season isn't bad this year and that it doesn't cause you much trouble. Losing those beautiful fruit trees is sad.

Typhoon season here starts from June until almost November. The Observatory already forecasts that there will be 8-10 typhoons which may come near our territory.

Mostly I try not to think about them.
I've never heard of a soursop tree - or seen the fruit. Can you eat them? I'm glad there wasn't too much damage.
