As expected Trump’s insane tariffs are sinking the stock market faster than the Titanic. This is what happens when stupid people elect an ignorant moron who surrounds himself with sycophants. It is absolutely shocking to me that no one was willing or able to stand up to him and tell him in terms a 2nd grader could understand what his outrageous trade wars and tariffs would do to the American and global economies. At the moment the stock market is currently playing Limbo and I predict this will go one for a very long time. Enjoy your recession MAGA!

How did Trump graduate from Wharton with an actual degree?

Probably the same way “student athletes” graduate unable to read their diplomas: they bring money into the university (by bribery or TV contracts).

@njchicaa I note that the UK might retaliate by applying tariffs to (wait for it) pure bred horses imported from the US. That’ll show him!!

The stupid morons are the ones who do not understand the benefit of tariffs, and who failed history miserably. We have been walked over, stepped on and raped and pilfered by other countries for 70 years. Trump says, and rightfully so, the United States is THE LARGEST BUYER OF ALL PRODUCTS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. If you want our money, build your factories HERE and HIRE us to make them. Why should WE all have to work at Walmart and they get all the benefits? As for the stock market, it's a blip and nothing more, and even if it crashes to the tune it did in 08/09, it will be back up, and WAY back up, and anyone buying into the drops NOW will be new millionaires tomorrow. The stock market's reaction is an OVERREACTION and nothing more, and that's something to BUY into. I'd be buying into this future economy as well because we're taking in trillions of dollars of new investment from foreign entities and when Trump lowers the corporate tax rate to 15% AND has the tariffs in place which both incentivize foreign business to set up shop here, you will see a second U.S. industrial revolution that will carry us for 50 years to the positive side with good, family supporting wages... Trust me. Mark my words. What you think is a disaster in the making is EXACTLY what we need to have happen. We've gotten screwed for too long and enough is enough. We don't need to be fighting for higher minimum wages if we just get people working jobs that actually PAY something decent—like manufacturing does.
