It is starting to look like spring out there with the trees beginning to leaf. We will have some warm and slightly wet weather the next couple of days I think which should bring most of them out at least in the front. The back is still bare but at least those brown leaves that were hanging around all winter from the branches are gone now. I like the privacy the leaves afford me, but sometimes the heavy leaf cover is a pain in the late spring early summer, and early fall as I can't see the street much at all. I also don't much care for the hermit vibe that living in the woods gives off. Trees and leaves, yay or nay? How much is too much?

The people that live in heavily treed parts of our northernn suburbs love it but the danger is always from bushfires. Some get burnt out but go back to the same areas.

We don't get a lot of fires in these parts.

Today was a nice spring day, we had sun, even though it was a bit on the cool side, in the sunshine it felt good. You are much further ahead than we are in this season.

Oh yes, it's in the 80's this weekend but will cool down radically for 3 or 4 days. I have shorts on now

The wood is behind our apartment, I am enjoying the changes, the trees are starting to show the leaves. I am happy to have trees around us, I like privacy.

I like privacy but not too fond of being surrounded by so many trees I can't see my neighbors.

I can see the ones on the sides but not much in the way of those that might be on the street. At the height of the summer I can't even see vehicles on it really.

Too much when you have to sweep them up.

I don't worry about them too much, unless they are causing a problem.
