Just Checking In / myLot

It gas been a.while since I have been here. So much going on. We are always under storm warnings. The other day, the man that owns the property on the road dug it all up, now cars can't get in and out. It is such a mess. Plus we are having an alert day Saturday and rain is expected, no telling how bad the road will be if it rains. We got new puppies, and they are a handful. We enjoy them. I'm to myself these days, kinda peaceful that way. Enjoying reading, and the peace and quiet. How is it going for the rest of mylot.

I'm glad you aren't getting the rain we're getting right now. My part of the city isn't flooding yet but the culverts are all running full. My yard looks like a swamp half the time. Even being on a plateau isn't keeping the water from flooding the sewer systems right now. When the rain stops for a little while, the yard slowly drains... I've never seen the sewer system full before. Reading interesting books keeps me sane.

I’ve been hoping you were doing okay. We sure do miss you, sweet lady. We’ve had bad weather this week, and a tornado touched down near my sister, but thankfully we’ve all otherwise been doing well staying safe from the weather.

I've been wondering if you were okay! These storms are terrible. I think your alert is higher than ours for tomorrow, but I'm with you and tired of them all! This is the 5th weekend in a row with bad weather! When is it going to end?
