We are back at it again today with enhanced risks of tornadoes. My county is in the mid-range section of the risk factor. However, that doesn't mean anything when they have been hitting and spotted all around you for the last 4 weeks!
We have no plans for today except to hang around the house and rest up for next week.
In checking the forecast this morning the only thing that has changed is that the bad thunderstorms will not be arriving around 3 pm as stated yesterday, but later on today around 8 pm. That means bad weather all night long. We have winds of 20 mph, which will increase tonight with the severe thunderstorms.
On the bright side, it is pleasant outside with the wind, very low humidity; even with the cloudy and overcast sky.
Will you be getting severe weather this weekend? I'm ready for all of this to stop! We have had enough here.

Low lying areas of Springfield, Missouri, are under water. (About 50 miles away from me.) It started storming here around 6 am. It's raining now but no lightning and thunder. Winds are running at 20 mph. But our temp is supposed to top out this afternoon around 45F... It's 41F at 12:05 pm. Humidity is 100%.
My area is supposed to drop below freezing tonight and have snow on the ground by morning. Doesn't that sound like fun?

It started snowing here around 11 am instead of early in the morning/during the night... Just tiny flakes but still, it's 41F here... We shouldn't be getting snow! It's stopped now but we get another chance at it later tonight. *sigh*

We’re just getting more (and more and more and more and more) rain. There is a severe weather threat later today, but they say it’s nothing compared to Wednesday or last Sunday.

I hope this isn't a preview of what our summer will be. Have a good day.

We are getting snow and freezing temps right now.
I feel lucky compared to some parts of the country.
