Riding on the backs of hares

While we’ve been in our old stamping ground, we took a trip out to a favourite winery and stocked up on a few bottles of wines we particularly enjoy.
Some bottles were on display in a wooden box which was supported by these brass hares. I thought they were very cute. We don’t have hares in Western Australia but we saw them once or twice in Ireland.

Did you buy enough that we can all have a taste test?
I wonder who thought to make something like those? I've never seen anything like that here and we do have hares.

@DaddyEvil That's for sure. It's so easy for it to become a habit even if you don't over-indulge.

@JudyEv In my younger years, I often had a glass in the later evening until Pretty started saying even one glass a day made me a lush... I didn't think much about her choice of words until the doctors told me I needed to lay off completely. (The doctors didn't agree with Pretty, either, but saying something like that is enough to ruffle my feathers...
It just wasn't worth arguing about, in my opinion.)

@DaddyEvil I mostly think we drink too much but it doesn't affect any one but us.

Hares aren't quite the same as rabbits. We have way too many rabbits, that's for sure.

That is so cool! They’re more proud of their olive oil collection.
