Made A Trip to Lindt

Today has been a very productive day so far.
I made a batch of carrot cupcakes. I wanted to test a recipe and try my hand at decorating them so that I can make some for Easter.
After a trip across town to the Stokes kitchen store and the Lindt chocolate store I am alot more ready for Easter than I was this morning.
Decorating the cupcakes with the piping was alot easier than I originally thought it would be. With practice I will only improve. 
I picked up a cute little baking pan to put our son and daughter-in-law's Easter candy into. It was the perfect shape, but it has a snowflake on it. I tried to disguise it with some of the grass that I put into it under the candies.
I wrapped the girl's gifts to put a stop to getting them any more. They have enough. I went with an outdoor sandbox theme, although there are lots of chocolates as well.
Now it is time to relax, I just put a nice roast into the oven for supper. How is your day going today?

I have done several small chores and now I´m ready for my nap. After it, I´ll wash the last pots in the sink and clean the kitchen floor. As Anita did not come last week, the kitchen floor will have to be mopped by me.

We not only have a couple of Lindt stores, but we also have a Lindt factory outlet.
Imagine Lindt chocolates at a better price, it is great!!!
I prefer quality chocolate over quantity of it.
I did not see any jelly beans in the stores this year, and had to get Hersey Eggies in place of robin eggs.
So many changes in selection, I'm not sure if it is due to the tariffs or if it has to do with the price of cocoa.
Here is the little dish that I made up for my son and his wife. It has the traditional Lindt bunnies with the little bells.

@sallypup I doubt that they will have trouble tearing into them.
It is too easy knowing that there will be a huge sale after Easter at the outlet.
All of the Lindt stores send their leftover seasonal chocolate to the outlet.
I am glad that they are 35 minutes across town from where we live.

Its going OK. I had a nice long chat with my mom and dad. They are doing well. My cousin's son just got married. He is kind of a crazy kid. Hopefully this will settle him down a bit. I also found a great car which is very affordable, but I really can't buy it until later on in the month. This probably will be gone by that time..sadly. I almost thought about giving him a deposit. He seems like a trustworthy sort, but I hate to do that with someone I don't know. I will think about it.

My day seems to have come and gone while I was writing up a storm. Will there be an Easter egg hunt for the girls?

That is great that you did so much writing, you must feel wonderful having had such a productive day.
There are a few community Easter Egg Hunts, our daughter-in-law did register the girls for one of them, and we will all go and watch them enjoy the hunt, although those 'hunts' are more of a grab event. 
. But they often do a draw for nice prizes.
Our son and daughter-in-law will have their own little egg hunt on Easter morning, just at home with the girls. They have always done that, and they all enjoy it so much.

Sounds like you got a lot done. Today the Terminix guy is coming and so is my husband's 2nd cousin. Today is grocery pickup day, prescription pickup, sandwich making and taking out the trash.
