I just listened to a piece of wonderful news. I Chilean sportswoman, Paula Ulloa, number 1 in the world in paralympics (karate in wheelchair) was being interviewed. She was happy and wanted everyone to do sports, no matter what they had. She has Ankylosing spondylitis but in spite of that she has managed to reach the number one place in the world in her category.
She practices every day as other people who are in sports do. And besides that, she has her husband and a son. That is, her life is full. The only thing she asked for is to give likes online because with enough likes she will be sponsored to go on with her work. And where she works they accept a lot of people that don´t have the means to pay for classes.
This is what makes me proud, friends. I don´t much care for extra money and many of the things that are happening in the world tend to make me sad or irritated. But this is different.
As Paula Ulloa answered the questions, she looked so happy and content with her life that I couldn´t but envy her. She explained the different types of games on wheelchairs (motor problems, blindness or Down syndrome).
Shame on me, writing in my bed.
Next week I´ll start with my teeth again. See you.

This lady sounds amazing. I wish I had some energy to do even a bit of what she does.

So you made it to your dental appointment with Martin? I hope you don't need a lot of work done.

I'm having trouble working out how karate can be done from a wheelchair. Good for her. She does sound a wonderful person.
