Well, goofed things up again

Before I tattle on myself, thought I'd mention that the photo above was taken back in the 1980s with a 35mm camera, it wasn't an easy shot because those hummers are really really fast and I ain't a pro.
Also, I'd like to thank whoever it was that sent us RAIN, it was heavenly.
Now for the tattle:
Yesterday I got a warning that my 1drive was almost full to capacity and recommended I buy at least another GB which of course would be a subscription and would cost me monthly so I thought I'd simply download some of the files in it and save it to a folder on my desktop ...... unfortunately as soon as I saved all that to an external hard drive I ended up with absolutely no C drive 
Today I called Lenovo for help and once I paid them almost $75 the tech helped me regain something akin to a C drive. It took about 2 hours but at least now I have access of my files without having to plug in that external drive and all the info is still on my external drive in case something goes wrong with my abilities again ...... next time I'll ask what to do before I attempt to do it, do you believe me?

I'm glad Lenovo was able to help you. I hate it when I goof something up and it drives me crazy until I figure out what I did and how to fix it. (That's the reason I try so hard to help people on myLot when they mess something up or just have trouble with their electronics.)

I don't like 1Drive... I automatically store my stuff on an external drive. Sorry it took things going bad before you got it explained to you.

I have everything on several externals but I keep getting those weird messages about running out of storage so like a fool I thought I'd see what was in it and found some JPGs I wanted to save before I tried to shut it down. I thought I had turned the stupid thing off but apparently Win11 makes it impossible to do that.

That lil kritter was so fast but I had that repeat feature on my camera and just held down the button til the lil kritter flew off. There were severl decent shots but all were just a little blurry because I didn't have the correct equipment to help get a better shot.

That is good that they were able to assist you.
I just called Bell Canada, who is our internet, and cell phone provider.
The internet portion of our bill had gone sky high, and even though there was a discount, I asked for a further discount. And after about 35 minutes on the phone, I actually got it.
