Bookworms - a new perspective.

A book arrived for me today which wasn’t a surprise because I had ordered it. Written not by a strident right winger who tolerates only a somewhat wooden and uncompromising theology, and of which there are plenty, but by a quiet (but not docile) woman theological writer. The book is her take on the book of Genesis, a Bible book that has given rise to many interpretations all of which are probably way off the mark. So I settled myself with a glass of vintage (that hath been cooled a long age in the deep delved earth) and opened the package. The contents looked unusual for a book and further inspection revealed a dose of live tiger worms which I had also ordered and forgotten about. They are for my compost heap because my garden is bereft of worms of its own. I trundled out into the garden and settled the 75 grams of tiger worms into their new home and now I have nothing to read. At least I still have that draught of vintage.

Did the book go in the compost heap with the tiger worms?

I have loved books since I was a child, Of the books I have I do a kind of rotation and reread many of them over and over always discovering something new or remembering why I enjoyed the book, I read in both English and Latvian,
