Looks like I'm running the dishwasher today.

George has had the munchies, and we're now out of microwave safe plates. I broke a couple last month, so we have very few. I am glad George's trying to eat, though. I find he sometimes gets the munchies if I flush his tube early enough in the day. He also has more energy, too. I'm trying to tweek things, so that he gets his shakes throughout the day. Because that will give him what he's missing from the foods he is getting down.

We bought one because we got spoiled with apartments that had them built in.

Maybe if he smells good things cooking occasionally he will get an appetite. I hope the shakes throughout the day help.

@kaylachan .......it must be hard for you both. He has come a long way though. I wish there was a way to get him to eat more. Maybe more caloric food choices.

@celticeagle The stroke changed things that we can't see. Plus, he never did eat a lot prior to the stroke. So I need to be realistic. I can't expect or force hies, I'll take it.m to change, he has to want to do that himself. And if it's starting with the munchi

Sounds like great progress—even if you're running low on plates! It’s awesome that George is getting the munchies more, especially when the flush is earlier. Spacing out the shakes sounds smart, too. Thinking of grabbing more plates soon, or switching to something sturdier?

Not right now. I run our dishwasher once or twice a week and we have enough at the moment. It was sad to loose a couple plates, but it happens.

Ah I broke a glass bowl too and the worst part it had our dinner in it...while taking it out of the microwave

Been there done that. I am sure a plate that fell off the counter has shards under the couch, from four years ago.
