So many streaming sites now, who can watch them all? However, something popped up the other day when I was looking for Gene Hackman movies. It was called Fawesome, and what I found intriguing about it was that it has a section of just Oscar winning movies, and those nominated for an Oscar It had some really good ones in there from years back like the Aviator and films of that sort. I am looking forward to exploring it more over the weekend. Have you discovered any new streaming sites lately?

The only site that I engage in is YouTube. I just found a 1950s comedy that features Lucy Ball as a Fuller Brush lady.

@snowy22315 She put some miracle hair lotion on fancy women's curled hair. Not long after, while they are having a garden party, their rollers start falling off their heads onto the cement, jumping around like they are alive. The Siamese cat starts chasing the rollers. Then the ladies see that they are going bald and start screaming. Slap stick weirdness.

@sallypup Funny! Did you ever see the one where she was baking bread and put a huge amount of yeast in, and it practically impaled her growing out of the oven?

I haven't heard of that one, either. I only have Hulu and it's more than enough, both son and I have plenty to watch plus all mainstream news, local stuff, etc. I can't even watch half the stuff I want to watch, there is a lot of choices. So unless they hike the price way up, I will stick with Hulu for now.

I wish I would have gone with Hulu Live with local channels instead of YouTube TV..I might still if YouTube tries to drop CBS again

@MarieCoyle I wanted it, but since I had had a free trial before..it was causing problems during the sign up. I gave up on it My favorite show on there was the series about Theranos. That was fascinating. I wish it would have been a series

@snowy22315 I went with the Hulu+ thing when it had a special. I had researched my kids streamings at their house, and at a friends house, so I tried to do my homework for what I wanted. I really have been happy with it.

I had never heard of that, but it sounds like worth checking out. I don’t think I’ve come across any new streaming sites lately. So many seem to be cross streaming. Things I used to know I could only get on Discovery+, now streams on Hulu too. If I want to watch Investigation ID shows like Disappeared, I can just go to Hulu. Same with anything Lt. Joe Kenda has been in.

See, I don't have Hulu..so I can't see Disappeared unless I happen to run into it on the ID channel . I wonder if it's on YouTube? They seem to have everything

@AmbiePam I checked it out,,not full episodes of the ID channel ones, but they have other disappeared type shows on there. Missing 411 is quite gripping if you have seen that

I've never heard of Fawesome. I still have 2 months left on my bargain Hulu subscription. I don't enjoy watching movies by myself now that my husband is gone.

I don't care if it is alone or with someone. A great movie is still a great movie.

Another member posted about this site a month or two ago. I didn't see anything exciting when I was browsing through the app, nothing different than tubi.

Most streaming sites don't have a section just devoted to Oscar winners and contenders..at least not the ones I know.

I saw that one a few days ago when I was exploring the internet for something new to do. It looks very similar to the streaming site I shared with you already. If you find something different on it, please let me know. Thanks.

I don't watch a lot of tv but what I do watch is the FBI FILES which is about all the criminals they catch back in the day. I also watch Divorce Court on why people get divorced which is pretty interesting.
