Good Evening Lotters!

Today has been a throwed off day.
I had breakfast and headed outdoors. Got all the animals taken care of and changed water in the chicken coop and started burning some trash and limbs. The hubby stayed in bed and watched television for awhile.
I then started digging a hole for one of the peach trees. Yeah, they still haven't been planted due to all the rain. I thought today would be a good day...but, I got interrupted by mowing.
His plans for the day were to get his tool out of my car and mow the grass. He came out and got right on the mower. What got my attention was that he went to the exact spot where he told me he would mow last and took it down. I had asked where he was mowing today and where he was starting. The answer was the side of the house by the road and the front of the house. He mowed behind Duke's dog house and tree on the opposite side of the house.
I was upset because I have been waiting on a couple Elderberry trees to take good root there so that I could dig them up. Well now they can't be seen because they have no tops on them anymore.
When he stopped the mower I commented that he had told me he was starting on the other side of the house. He got mad and parked the mower.
I came inside and took a nap.
That's the way my day went. How did yours go?

Uh huh... We all know men give precise directions when they talk about what they're doing... How could you misunderstand him so badly?
My day didn't go like I'd planned... I wanted to start mowing and had taken the battery for the mower out yesterday and plugged it in so it could charge overnight. I also thought I'd see about trimming the pampas grass back and cut some walnut saplings down today... Instead, what I did was use an epi-pen because my throat started closing up... That always makes me sleep most of the day and night before the meds let me go. I won't be on myLot unless something happens to force me to be awake. *shrug*
Hopefully, I can work in the yard tomorrow.

@kareng We can't understand directions women give us, that's true... I think it's something wrong in a woman's brain, but can't be positive... They may not ha... uhm... I mean, that something gets messed up in there and things don't come out the same way they went in... If you understand me.

Thanks... I've had three problems last month and then this one this month, so far. I'm glad the doctor keeps prescribing more epi-pens for me.

I was sick, but am better now. Hated to waste a day. I would be furious in your shoes about those elderberry trees.

Not too bad. I got a couple of things done today so far, despite my getting up late.
After I finish lunch I'll do Bible study, then fold and put away the laundry, and then go and check the mail.

Sounds like a day to forget about, sorry about that. I hope the nap helped you feel better though.
I passed the driving theory test the other day, so I've been mostly waiting for actual driving lessons. I don't live where you live so I don't have to tell you when that happens so you're safe going out either way.
