Tariffs are flung on the goods of all nations. Some retaliate. As a capitalist nation this upends the economy, fluctuation on the stock market. The price of many stocks fell. Billionaires were losing money. Then, there was an alert. “THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!! DJT,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social at 9:37 a.m. Four hours later, Trump paused the tariffs for 90 days, causing the stock market to rise. This meant, if you bought stock after getting that 'advisory' you would pay little, then the stocks would surge, you'd sell off, and make pots of money. Coincidence? When the tariffs are removed, the stocks surged.

China produces cheap stuff. All over the world they sell cheap stuff. Nothing they make lasts. America buys more from China than China buys from the US. The result will be China selling more to other countries who buy less from the US. The fact Trump alerted his followers on his site to buy stock is very suspicious

@Jhana Right, just evening out and making the trade more fair for American's. He's just proposed charging other countries what they currently charge us. No big deal, yet everyone is in a big hoopla over it. I guess it is just over their heads to comprehend that it is very basic what has been implemented.

@jaylar No dear, what will happen is now everyone wants to make a deal with the USA. All we proposed was to tax China what they were taxing us. Fair and square. Same with other countries. They have been charging us and no charge to them. Now everyone wants to make a DEAL. That will mean THEY will lower tariffs and the U.S. will do the same and match what they pay. It is a HUGE win for you, me, everyone. And all due to President Trump. He is very masterful in dealings and has a very high IQ. I'm sure it is 3-4 x higher than yours.

Oh, and the dollar is sinking worldwide, prompting the rise in popularity and price of something iDJiT has been promoting this term: Bitcoin. Coincidence?? I’m with you: his vocabulary is at a third grade level (remember when you discovered adverbs? That’s where he seems to be stuck!), so I don’t think HE did it. I think his handlers, however, are playing him like a violin. (A very badly tuned one.)

I see the same. He has no idea that China has more trading partners, sells more stuff, and not selling in the US is not a major deal. His mindless followers will be paying more for stuff, but they'll blame someone else. I am amazed that a ridiculous diaper wearer as he can so control the population. The I.Q. in the US really has descended.
