Oh here we go again. The Very Stable Genius is so freaking stupid that he still doesn't understand that Americans pay the tariffs in increased prices and apparently his advisors are just as stupid or are ineffective and cannot teach him that tariffs are taxes on Americans.
So what is his next plan? To institute huge tariffs on pharmaceuticals (medications). He said: "We’re going to be announcing very shortly a major tariff on pharmaceuticals. And when they hear that, they will leave China. They will leave other places because they have to sell — most of their product is sold here and they’re going to be opening up their plants all over the place.”
This moron thinks that making life-saving medications MORE expensive for Americans will somehow help US citizens and that is INSANE. Um #1 when people can't afford their medications then they die. I'm not going to point out which political party has the most members on Medicare and Medicaid but this plus the GOP's goals of cutting the payouts. . . but let's just say it will play out as well as it did for his denial of the danger of COVID during 2020. It is a very strange election strategy to kill off your voters.
#2 Does this moron who is supposedly a real estate developer and "builder" not realize how long it would take for companies to build pharmaceutical manufacturing plants in the US and get them up and running? That isn't going to happen in months, a year, or even a couple of years. He will have everyone paying a stupid amount more for medicine when there won't be any other alternatives and those on Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid are receiving less money for assistance. People will die.
Trump doesn't care though because his concerns are the tariffs that--with a degree from the prestigious Wharton School of Business at Penn State--he still doesn't understand. He doesn't care because he wants Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid cut to fund tax cuts for the billionaires. It is HILARIOUS to me that red state MAGA voters on assistance or Social Security think that Trump cares about them. He wouldn't ever sit down to dinner with them. He wouldn't ever allow them into Mar-a-Lago. I watched a documentary about him, "Unfit", and when a supporter like 20 years ago introduced herself to him--his response was "why would I want to speak with you? I wouldn't even let you suck my (fill in the blank) ".
Trump killed at least 1 million Americans with his cavalier attitude about COVID because he only cared about winning the 2020 election. He will kill way more than that with tariffs on pharmaceuticals.

There are some people in their 70s that still have to work because they don't make enough Social Security. Now their meds are going to cost more?

He’s tanked the stock market and his buddies are reaping the rewards.
The dollar is worth less than my toenails and his crypto buddies are reaping the rewards.
So who’s going to benefit when pharmaceutical prices start yo-yoing? What do they say…follow the money.

The MAGATs were too stupid to realize that their benefits would be cut. Not surprising really b/c most are from the states with the lowest education rankings. No critical thinking skills.
Now their medication prices will skyrocket. Good luck when your benefits have been slashed. But MAGA right?

Yeah, well... What can I say that hasn't already been said by millions of people who are not demented?

You are correct. If the prices go way up, people will die. It's like we are being weeded out in a way, little by little.
