A whole bunch of nothing...

I walked around one side of the complex and went down the dirt trail in the back until I came to the gate that opens closest to the mailboxes.
I went across to the mailboxes, opened mine, and there was nothing in there but air. At least there were no bills.
Currently I have 3,553 steps. I had to take my shoes off when I got home, as while they're still way more comfortable than the last ones, they're still new, and my feet aren't 100% used to them yet. So glad I can go for a walk though, and not be in pain at the end! 
Feeling kind of tired, as I'm not used to good walks again yet, either.

What exactly are they inspecting?

@xstitcher They go throughout the apartment, make sure it’s clean, in order, and that nothing needs to be fixed. Basically they want to ensure the tenant is being a good tenant, and management is fulfilling their obligations too.

It was two junk things, one for tree removal service and another for refininancing our house and paying a mortage again.

Sounds like a nice bit of fresh air, even if the mailbox didn’t deliver anything exciting.
