Friday Was Busy!

Today was errand day and we doubled up instead of both of us going in the same direction and taking two vehicles.
Our first stop was the flea market since it was the further away. I had a stack of t-shirts all tagged, priced and hung up ready to go into my booth. So since we were only 20 minutes away, decided to take them for the busy weekend.
They were busy when we got there and hubby was groaning about the parking. I told him to park in the no parking zone right in front of the sidewalk going in. It is okay for vendors to do that when unloading. So that is what he did, although hesitantly.
I got everything put up and tidied up. That was easy today and only took like five minutes. I ended up having to work in the office for a few minutes since the lady working today had to go into the back office and talk with another vendor about a matter. Bonnie was also there and she helped with the bagging while I took care of the tickets.
After it slowed down and the meeting was done with in the back, my husband and I left. We went to Tractor Supply and got cat food and he got a new transfer pump.
Next stop was for lunch. We were both getting hungry since we left the house later that we expected too. We went to the Golden Corral and had a nice lunch.
Last stop of the day was Aldi's because we were out of milk and almost out of bread. I stocked up on a few things while there. I left my list in the car, so had to play it by ear. I didn't forget anything that we were totally out of so that worked out fine.
We got home and I put groceries up and started to get ready for my event on Saturday. I'll be going back to the same little town that the flea market is in for the Olde Town Market. Hoping for a nice day there. I will be inside again for this event. Someone canceled. April is the month the coordinator forgot to put me down for and I was stuck with outside space. So one more event this month. Keeping my fingers crossed for another cancellation!
I have my car all packed and ready to go in the morning at 6:30 am. So now I am bidding you good night, although it is already morning.

@snowy22315 Right! Especially since this place doesn't charge an arm and leg to have vendor space there! We even get free days sometimes!

Have fun tomorrow. I'm glad you'll be inside during the event. I'd roast if I had to be in the sun all day.
I cropped the pampas grass down this afternoon and cut my hands up on the sharp leaves and got a few splinters as well... It's always so much fun dealing with it but it's such a beautiful plant... It looked to me like that arctic cold front we had this winter may have killed it. I didn't see any new shoots trying to sprout. It normally sprouts in the middle of March but it's already the middle of April with no sign of life. I've had that plant for over 30 years. I'll be sad if it's really gone.

@DaddyEvil The branches are still viable, so hoping it is just getting a slow start!

@kareng Fruit trees are really susceptible to that kind of cold.

Ours got bad and we quit going. They had so much salt in everything that you couldn't eat it. Since we are both on a low sodium diet, we could not handle that at all. They finally got a new manager and we tried it again. It's back to the way it should be. And since the price is the same or less as getting a burger, fries and drink at fast food place, we choose it over that.
