I Am Tired

But the end of the dog pen is done. It ended up a little more work than I thought. And Patch border collie escaped once while I was taking a break. I leaned the last panel in place and let the dogs out. Of course that smart butt had to nose and figured out she could squeeze through there . She was good and came when I called. That was enough work for the day I think. But I still might get a little bit done inside. Not sure I will. If it stays dry tomorrow I will cut on that old fence panel and try to get hubby to cut the big piece. Then I can finish cleaning the old chicken run area up. Hope you had a good day.

I grabbed some much needed sleep and I am in cleaning mode. I had frozen a pan of lasagna the last time I made some, to be eaten when I didn’t want a kitchen mess, son thinks that’s a great dinner. As usual you are busy with projects. I’m glad Patch came when you called. Did she take escape lessons from George?

I do that when I make lasagna and meatloaf. I always teach the come command first for that reason. I actually think she taught George horse.

@wolfgirl569 From the day I had kids to feed, and was a working mom as well, I learned that when I made a casserole, or a dish of any kind that froze well, to make two and one was wrapped, labeled and frozen. It helps so, so much on busy days Oh, Patch...you teaching George your tricks!! Border Collies are quick and they are smart, too. They can move fast, I know.

It might have been a good thing that Patches got out right away because at least you were there to see it and how she got out and fix it.

You didn't expect Patch NOT to try to escape, did you? At least she came when you called her. Pretty went out and worked in the yard this afternoon. The air quality sucked again and I told her it sucked before she went out. She says she got the front yard done.

@wolfgirl569 Patch is complaining you don't play with her enough... George relayed the information... She says she's found a new mower she likes... I told her I get a vote on it and she says I never mow the yard anyway so she didn't need to ask me. I'm going to hold her to that!

The hard part was getting one of the chain link panels turned around. I had to drag it back into the yard to have room . Patch is my escape artist. But she knows the come command well thankfully
