Not a completely wasted trip...

Screencap of library books that I thought were waiting at the library for me.

I got to the library early, and needed to wait about twenty-five minutes to half an hour before it opened. Once I got in, I returned the books I had finished, and went to the "hold" shelves to pick up the books I had on hold. Or, thought I had on hold. I couldn't find them. I went to the front desk and told the librarian I couldn't find the books that I had on hold. She pulled up the website, and showed me that the two (actually more, but I couldn't get them all in the screencap) books I had "on hold" were still in transit. I have three other books in transit as well--at least, I think that it's only three. I'll have to check again tomorrow. Until then, I have nothing to read! As they say often in one of the series I'm reading: AHHHHH! I think I'll survive. I think...book withdrawal...

I hope that you can finally find your borrowed books then return them to the library.

I did return my books to the library, but the ones I thought were there on hold weren't there yet.
