Brutal spider v. bee battle in my window this morning.

I got lazy and did not clear away the spider web that had "occurred" in my window. It is right next to my desk.
This morning, as I was chatting with my friend on the phone, a brutal battle occurred between a spider and much larger bee. The bee was larger than the one in the video I'll attach, and it found itself ensnared in the spider's web.
A battle ensured, and I watched the whole thing, while narrating much of it to my music buddy, down in New Orleans.
All is calm now. I will clear the spider web away in due course.
Can you guess who "won"?

Spiders usually win that type of battle. I hope you enjoyed watching the show.
Edit to add: The link works for a few seconds and then the content disappears. I don't know why that's happening.

I'm glad you said that, I thought it was me doing something wrong.
Spiders can trap unusual bugs. I found a butterfly in one once when I was outside in my little garden. It was too late to save it.

I wish that the bee won. We need them more than the spider does.

@TheHorse .......I don't like watching animals or insects do this sort of thing.

usually I believe spiders are the winners. However, I always wonder what the spider would do if stung by the bee,

Ew and Ew. That's not a battle I would care to watch.

It is always amazing to me, although I am not sure why, how strong, even in a world such as this where most "actions" are mostly instinctual rather than "cognitive," the struggle to survive is. You wonder what actually does go through the bugs mind in that very moment. Is it fear? Is it hope? Is it despair? It is also a subtle reminder of the brutality of nature, and how shielded we are, as humans, from this harsh reality of life. At least, the being eaten part.
