I get paid again this week

Woohoo! We get paid biweekly but there is no school next week. When there is no work on a usual payday we get paid the last day we *do* have work before that payday. In the grand scheme of things it really doesn't make a difference. Yes I'll get paid 2 weeks in a row but then I have to wait 3 weeks to be paid again. Sooooo it all works out to be the same in the end. It sure does look nice to see my checking account after that 2nd check though.

I’m currently trying to sell some stuff to make a little money. My new medicine is not covered by insurance so I’m looking at everything I might be able to sell to pay for it. I made enough for this month, now I need need to sell enough for next month!

We are going through that with my son. It's a ton of money when insurance decides they don't want to pay for it. I'm sorry, Amber.

I am sure you are looking forward to the Spring Break days. It won't be long until summer. Did you ever find out if your pool is going to be open this year?

Haven't heard yet. I expect to within the next couple of weeks. Last year it opened on Memorial Day and was open every day (bad weather and algae issues nonwithstanding). I liked being able to get back from work in early June and hit the pool for a couple of hours. By then *if it is open* I'll be able to do that again because the homebounds will be done.

I haven’t been paid anything other than monthly since the late 70’s or maybe early 80’s? When I first started working it was weekly (and very much weakly) in cash. Back then it hardly lasted the week. Then when I was forced to be paid monthly (in arrears!) I found it very difficult to get to the next payday without going into debt. Now of course I’m used to it, and don’t have the money worries I used to have. Thankfully.
