It must always be family first

No matter how busy you may be at work or business if the call of your presence at home is needed, you must leave everything behind you and check what your family needs you. A family member might get sick or someone at home needs money to buy something important, so it will be only you to answer their need. Blood is thicker than water and whoever tramples a family's dignity, you cannot just stay idle but stand to clear the issues involved without basis. We also work harder and find the best ways to have a better life for the sake of the family we love. They are our inspiration and the reason why wake up the next day. Amen to this

Amen! When you get sick or burned out from work, the most they’ll probably do is visit once, if at all. Then when you die, they’ll attend your wake or burial—and that’s it. After a few days, you’re replaced. At the end of the day, it’s always been—and will always be—between you and your family.

@pitsipeachie, that's also true at least they'll visit and say some comforting words.

@cacay1 Exactly my point — the fact that “at least they’ll visit” just proves what you really are to your work. You’re just an employee, and that’s the bare minimum for an employee. No more, no less. Work will never love you like family does even if they build you a monument lol!

I believe this also, but sadly, some circumstance takes the loved ones away.

@RebeccasFarm that's normal since we're mortal and there's no forever life.

I worked hard for my family and even when working forty hours a week my family came first.

@jstory07 you're so nice mom and wife. It should be family first. And blood is thicker than water.
