I just found out a local church here (very loca)l is having a sunrise service on the lake

So, there is a church here..that in the summer has services on the lake. Their normal time is 8:30 I think. I have been a few times. Well I guess they literally mean a sunrise service for Easter because it is at 6:30 AM. I have never gone to a sunrise service, although I did go to a sunset one in another area I used to live in. It should be fairly warm. They are also having a potluck afterwards. The thing is though I am having an Easter dinner here. I suppose by the time the evening rolls around we want something to eat. Friend and I might go, as long as I don't get involved in buying the car that day.Have you ever been to a sunrise service?

I usually wake up fairly early. I could probably make it.

@snowy22315 I wake up around 6am, but it takes me a good 2 hours after the medicine kicks in to feel like leaving the house, even though it just takes me 15 minutes to get ready.

@snowy22315 I think it was an Easter service not Christmas- unexpectedly a person in the balcony above us suddenly started to play a trumpet. Somehow the sudden trumpet blast brought the service to its true meaning.

@allknowing They have benches set up. They aren't super comfortable, but they will be fine as long as the service isn't too long. What's cool is some people arrive by boat.
