I had to go into the bigger town today to do some errands. I had just finished going to the ATM for Wells Fargo, what a ridiculous rip off..never again..when I saw A large umbrella from a near by bistro blow into the street, just as mysteriously as it happened it blew back . I would have stopped to tell them, but I don't know that area, and didn't see anywhere to park .plus it was by the courthouse with lots of cop cars lurking. there. I didn't want to explain why I was blocking the street. Probably not a big issue, but I didn't want to deal with it.

When my dad’s best friend and his wife went on vacation, the wife got her neck impaled by a wind blown umbrella. She had to be flown back to the United States for surgery. She’s fine now, but she had real trouble for months.

Wow, I guess they can be dangerous. I was just thankful I wasn't on the street when it decided to blow. I hope someone told the people who worked there. I was not the only one who saw it, as far as I know

Sometimes stopping in an area like that where you are not used to the parking, can cause more problems than it solves. I would have left it also, if there are that many cops around, surely one of them could have retrieved it.

It was almost blocking my path when I was turning into the street in which case I wouldn't have had a choice as to whether it was moved or not. It was a bit of a hazard

My friend had quite a big umbrella in her back yard, attached to quite a heavy base. A big wind picked the whole thing up and dumped it right way up in her neighbour's backyard. lol

I go into the bank once a month and get cash, They charge for using the ATM machine.

See, most banks don't charge you for using their ATM's when you are a customer of that financial institution Overall, I like WF..not a primary bank of mine though .and it never will be with that crap.
