Has Anybody Tried Mushroom Coffee?

Apparently mushroom coffee is a new trend. Not necessarily drug-inducing mushrooms, but actual mushrooms. I just saw a tv commercial with actor Neil Patrick Harris pitching Ryze mushroom coffee. I don't like mushrooms, so this has no appear to me whatsoever.

I love mushrooms, but honestly, I think the "health trend" is a bunch of hooey, and personally, I'd be willing to try it just to try it, but I don't think it's worth the premium price, so it's unlikely I will ever sip a cup of it.

I heard about it but have not tasted it yet. Sometimes I make my own coffee with bran or coarse whole wheat and add chicory.

It doesn’t taste like mushrooms at all. At least the three I’ve tried haven’t (I got them sent to me to review). It’s really healthy for you though.

I have tried it too, Thanks to Amber who seems to get it regularly. I don't notice any funky flavor with it.

I do not like mushrooms or coffee so I will not be trying it. I have not seen it in the stores either.

I have no idea about this, However, I do know that in Latvia when coffee prices rose we picked acorns from out oak tree and when ground had very nice acorn coffee,

I had a few cups of it at my daughter’s house, it doesn’t taste like mushrooms. It was delicious!
