oldie but a goodie

I felt like posting a past park photo so I did!
My today has been mellow. I hope yours has been mellow, too.
Both hubby and I woke exhausted so our morning reading from the bible and the Wind in the Willows happened at noon.
Daughter sent me some sweet bunny gifts- watercolor pencils, regular pencils and a heavy duty sketchbook for dabbling with the watercolor pencils.
We decided to eat cheese today and deviled eggs rather than meat. Our big festive meal for the day had deviled eggs, a slice of hearty bread with Boursin creamy cheese, dolmathes(stuffed grape leaves), green olives, asparagus, That filled us up. Later we had a slice of home cake.
The pups had a kong ball peanut butter fun time then later a chew bone that was wheat based, not real bone or rawhide. Supposed to last half hour. How about five minutes?!

It sounds like you had a good day. I like the idea of a wheat based chew bone....except it won't last.

@LindaOhio The bone was super hard but both pups quickly took care of them. I refuse to give the dogs rawhide.

One of the guests at my brother's brought Dolmathes. We have known this person since he was a little kid and we know his family. They brought some other pickles as well. They said it is fun to bring food to our gatherings because we will try them. At his house he says they will bring stuff and no one will touch them.

I hope you're both feeling okay except for being tired.
Pretty fixed me a ham and cheese sandwich and later, heated up some pasta and chicken... It was a quiet day here.
Poor puppies didn't get as much time with their nibbles as they hoped, either.
