Still having a few surprises here with the Spring Blooms. Amaryllis popped up here the other day. These are found here and there around the property. I also have some potted in a big pot. I thought I would snap a photo to show you and continue my Signs of Spring series! Do you have any Amaryllis? Photo Credit: My Own

They are very pretty. I want some of the red and white striped ones. What color do you have?

@DaddyEvil They sound beautiful. You don't see pink ones often.

@kareng The ones at the other house were a pink-ish red and everybody else loved them. I left them behind because I don't care for pink blooms.

No; I don't.Actually we don't have sufficient place at our house for a garden. We are planning to renovate it and have some place for flowers and vegetables. Thanks for sharing the nice pic here

@kaylachan That's good. We get Spring and Summer before the Northern States.

I had an amaryllis (I thought they bloomed around Christmas?) but unfortunately I couldn't keep it alive.

They bloom anytime from late winter through Spring. Ours back in Louisiana used to bloom in March.

@kareng I think they were red, it's been a long time. But Dale surprised me yesterday with our first peony blossom. It's white with red specks and so pretty!

What a beautiful flower, and it looks like you have lots of blooms coming soon! What a pretty sight that will be with them all in bloom. The only flowering plants I have are azaleas planted all around my oak trees, and they are in full bloom right now!

@kareng They are all pink ones. Some darker pink, some lighter pink, but all pink. At my last house, I had pink, red and white ones. I loved the variety of colors.

That is really lovely. They don't 'pop up' here unless they're planted. I know them better as hippeastrum.

No Amaryllis, but my daffodils have sprouted up nicely and my Bradford Pear trees are in full bloom with a pretty white color.
