I have always searched for quotes by the Late Pope Francis and admired how progressive his thinking was
He shocked mostly the Catholic community when he was asked about his opinion on Gays This is what he said
If a person is gay and seeks God and has good will,” the pontiff replied. “Who am I to judge? They shouldn’t be marginalized.”
Every quote of the Pope only showed how progressive his thinking was.
May his soul rest in peace.

Pope Francis's progressive views and compassionate approach have left a lasting impact on many. His inclusive stance, especially towards marginalized communities, reflected his deep commitment to love and acceptance. His words, "Who am I to judge?" resonate as a powerful reminder of the importance of empathy and non-judgment.
As we remember him, let's honor his legacy by embracing kindness, understanding, and the pursuit of peace. May his soul rest in peace, and may his teachings continue to inspire us to build a more inclusive and loving world.

@allknowing Pope Francis was indeed known for his progressive views, which often challenged traditional norms within the Catholic Church. Despite his modern approach, his faith remained unwavering and deeply rooted in the core principles of Christianity.
His stance on various issues, such as LGBTQ+ rights, atheism, and interfaith dialogue, showcased his belief in inclusivity and compassion. He emphasized that everyone, regardless of their background or beliefs, is deserving of God's love and redemption. His famous quote, "Who am I to judge?" when asked about gay individuals seeking God, highlighted his commitment to non-judgment and acceptance.
Pope Francis's strong faith was evident in his dedication to promoting peace, social justice, and environmental stewardship. He believed that by doing good and fostering a culture of encounter, we can build a more harmonious and loving world. His teachings continue to inspire many to embrace empathy, kindness, and a broader understanding of humanity.
In essence, Pope Francis's legacy is a testament to the power of faith combined with progressive thinking, encouraging us to look beyond differences and unite in our shared humanity. ??

@allknowing - I fear that the next Pope will not be at all like him.

Who are we to judge? I almost named my daughter Franceska. I remember watching his Holy Mass during the World Youth Day in the Philippines in 2015 while on bed rest. I was four months pregnant at that time. I only leave the house for check-ups because I was at high risk of miscarriage.

What an excellent answer. 'Who am I to judge' would make a good mantra.
