Eating a mango in style

I am hoping there will soon be mangoes loaded in our fridge.
I eat mangoes in many ways - I make ice cream, juice, curry and also eat them by just cutting them.
There is yet another way that I call it eating in style
The mango is cut and the two cheeks of the mangoes get scooped by using the baller
The scoops are placed in the empty skin of the mango cheek. Sometimes I add some milk cream and eat those scoops with a spoon
Whe guests arrive I serve them mango scoops sometimes. They taste better chilled

You know, I don’t think I’ve ever had fresh mango. I’ve had it in a canned “tropical fruit salad” but not fresh and by itself.

Mangoes are imported and you will get the best mangoes as locals will not get to eat them but you will I have mango trees and I do get godo quality mangoes but not the type they normally export
What I have is known as Benet Alphonso but they are not the best.

I absolutely love mangoes—whether they’re ripe and sweet or green and tangy. I enjoy them as is, but I also can’t resist mango-based treats, pastries and desserts. There’s just so much you can create from mangoes! From refreshing shakes to indulgent sweets, and even mango pickles—whether sweet, salty, or spicy—I love them all.

Mangoes are a beloved fruit in my place too, with so many delicious ways to enjoy them! We dehydrate and dry them to preserve their goodness, and mixing them with milk or incorporating them into ice cream is a treat we adore. Personally, I love mangoes that are just between fully ripe and green. The perfect blend of sweetness and sourness, with a slightly crunchy texture, is simply irresistible.
Mangoes have been a cherished part of my childhood, thanks to the tree in our yard that provided us with abundant harvests every summer. This fruit holds a special place in my heart, and its delightful flavors bring back fond memories.

They taste just the way they are. I have never felt the need to add lime juice Adding cream is when I have guests just to make it look exotic

@allknowing My husband only likes if I pour some lime juice on the fruit. I like it without lime.
