More than a week ago I bought a small, battery operated lawn mower. Then it rained.
I got to use it yesterday and I like it very much. It ran long enough to tire me out, and it did not take too long to recharge. I hope to mow some more tonight. It is supposed to rain tomorrow.
It is so easy to start and it is not anywhere near as noisy as gas powered. It was not any more expensive than a gas powered mower, either. It is not heavy and since it is a smaller mower it maneuvers really well around the things I have planted in the yard.
I go back to work in less than an hour, but I have a lawn mower to come home too. I am excited.

I’m glad that you like it. Cranking a push mower and the heaviness of them is a challenge for me.

I remember when these new-fangled things came on the market. They were expensive. Smart that you waited to purchase it, giving it time to lower in price. I'm not big on change, but when I hear of things like this, it gives me pause. This new mower should make the chore much easier on you. How nice!

I hope you still like it in a couple of years.
We'll be buying a new gas mower in the near future.

You must have a much smaller yard than me. I bought an electric mower. I do love not having gas fumes and a cord to pull but it doesn't go more than about half an hour. I could use it for a solid week before I got my entire yard mowed then would have to start all over.
