Where are the Mother's Day Cards?

I stopped in a Walgreens store yesterday and a different location of Walgreens today looking for a Mother's Day Card but they didn't have any. Why not? Mother's Day is May 11th, just two and a half weeks away. Why aren't the greeting cards out yet for that holiday? So many people just "text" their moms now instead of sending a traditional physical card. Do you still send out mother's day cards?

It does seem strange that they didn't have any mothers day cards available. Maybe they sold out. I think you are right about people texting greetings now instead of sending cards but there must still be many traditionalists who send cards to their Mother's. I don't,

sending my mom a mother's day card will take two weeks or more unlike sending virtual card and video greetings and face time

@looeyville my good wife receives them, but when I’m looking for one to buy on behalf of our youngest I’m appalled at how many rude ones are on the market. Apparently some people think it’s ok to send their mother a raunchy card.
