Sorry I was MIA again. The guys working on the gravel drive dug up my phone/internet cable without realizing it. I had no phone or internet until this afternoon. I will never be able to catch up; so I will just do the Notifications for now. I have 125. :-(
Still having gastrointestinal issues. I don't know what's going on; and I'm afraid to leave home.
My husband's 2nd cousin keeps canceling on me. Right now she's only coming over on Mondays; and she only does the trash, groceries and sandwiches. My to-do list keeps getting longer.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken and rice, I don't remember what else
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate chip muffin
Dinner - Ham/cheddar sandwich and Doritos
What did you eat yesterday?

Chuy’s! They have one in Knoxville, so I had my chicken taco and rice for lunch. For dinner, I went to a Virginia-based sub shop called Zeros. I got my brother some grub steak and cheese subs that he loves so much and had a turkey sub for myself. Their bread is out of this world, I think that’s what makes their subs so great.
You need to call a senior advocacy group and see about some assistance for yourself.

What is grub steak? Yes, I need help. The to-do list is overflowing.

You need a reliable helper. There has to be an agency there that has ladies available to help you. They do screen their workers, etc. and while all those places are different, for the most part they require their workers to be on time, honest, and trustworthy. You have to have someone.
Remember, chips like Doritos and Cheetos, etc. have a lot of fat and chemicals, and have been proven to be extremely hard on the digestive system...they won't help your digestive problems, you might want to avoid them for now.

The person would have to drive me to appointments, etc. as well.

It sounds like you need to call Job Search and ask them if they have someone who is honest and willing to work with you... You can't keep putting off your to-do lists.
Hmm... I had a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, an ice cream cone for lunch and two slices of pizza for supper late last night.
I hope you feel better soon.

@LindaOHio You're welcome.
You can include that in your job search description.

Call your local senior center to ask about help? Do the Meals on Wheels folks have contacts? Or whoever you contacted to get the Meals going- ask them. Stand up for you cause you are very important. I am sorry you are going through this. I ate the end of the malt balls candy yesterday. Home cake. Vegie Oriental dumpling and broth supper. Take care.

The Council on Aging (the Meals on Wheels folks) have all kinds of sources.

I hope you'll try to get some other help, even if only to catch up on a few tasks.
