My former neighbor texted me at 11:45pm last night asking if she could drop Whiskey off here if she needed to. I was awake because I couldn't sleep last night but I would have been PISSED if she had woken me up.
She lives about 15 minutes from where I work in one direction while the apartments here are 15-20 minutes from work in the other direction. Is she seriously going to drive 30+ minutes for me to watch her dog?
I didn't respond yet because I couldn't tell if she was talking about for the full day or in the afternoon. I will get back to her when I get to work. She hasn't texted me freaking out so I'm assuming she just meant this afternoon.

Are you only now figuring that out? Really?
Most women seem to have some type of problem or other.

This is the perfect day to tell her NO, you are too busy to watch her dog. You do really need to tell her no sometimes. She takes advantage and she won’t even try any other solutions as long as you always say yes. Besides, you really are busy!!
Yes, this is a bossy comment, I know. But it’s just time to say no.

Don't you always watch her dog? Should be yours by now...

@NJChicaa Then you shouldn't be so accommodating.

I sometimes text people late at night, just because that's when I happen to think of something so I send it then, assuming they will read it in the morning. I'm expecting that people will leave their phone before going to bed, or at least turn the sounds off. But maybe I'm completely wrong?

I can't imagine what she'll do if/when you go on holiday.

She’s definitely trying to take advantage of your good nature. Good for you not responding to her texts immediately. If it’s in your nature to be kind and helpful, then it’s difficult to say no.
